Eight beautiful miles of paradise.
Stretching from Siesta Key on the north to the Island of Venice at the southern tip, Casey Key is just 8 miles in length and is home to fewer than 400 residences. Conservative, tasteful architecture reigns supreme with few exceptions. Given that the majority of the island is a conservation district, land use is restricted to single-family residences. Two bridges provide access to the Key which is less than 300 yards wide in most places. To the benefit of homeowners, ground elevations on Casey Key are higher than on most of Sarasota’s barrier islands.
Casey Key is surrounded by beautiful Gulf beaches on the west and Little Sarasota Bay on the east. The Venice Inlet provides access to the Gulf at the south end. Sprawling Gulf-to-Bay estates dot the Key where waterfront homes exude a picturesque blend of wealth, elegance and Old Florida charm.
The Key’s pristine natural environment and wildlife are protected by legislation. With some of the highest land values on Florida’s west coast, Casey Key affords residents a picture perfect island lifestyle.
